Launching a Fast UPI Experience

A newly introduced in-app journey allowing users to send and receive money through a secure and distinct UPI experience.

UPI is fast by nature, but most implementations feel dense or visually flat. We wanted ours to be just as quick — but cleaner, calmer, and more designed

Discovery

UPI was placed on the main dashboard to make payments a daily-use feature, driving repeat visits and in-app transactions. Motion highlighted new launches like bill payments, making them easy to notice and try.

Less Clutter, More Confidence

Unlike most card-heavy dashboards, we went with a calm, spacious layout. Hexagonal action buttons made scanning easier, while subtle animations guided users without overwhelming them. The result: a dashboard that feels sharp, focused, and easier to use at a glance.

A Branded Take on Utility

The scanner is often overlooked, but it’s where most journeys begin. We added small touches — subtle motion, animated corners, floating controls — to make it feel smoother and more recognisable. Clean layout, brand-consistent motion, and faster entry all helped it stand out.

We aimed to make the entire UPI journey feel fast and easy without unnecessary complexity. The flow moves from QR scan to amount entry, confirmation, and success — each screen designed to stay focused and easy to follow.

Outcome

The UPI experience was launched successfully in-app and saw strong engagement from users.

It now serves as one of the primary flows inside the Moneyview app.
